Davis Square Architects is a small to mid-sized architecture and planning firm based in Somerville, Massachusetts. The practice emphasizes collaboration with clients, aiming to shape design solutions that respond to each project's needs, constraints, and aspirations while ensuring the built work respects its surroundings. Its design philosophy sits within a studio tradition that fosters an open, educational environment where ideas are shared and technology supports the process. The firm also commits a portion of profits to community service organizations, reflecting a belief in the mutual dependence of strong communities and good architecture.

The client base appears to include development partners and project teams seeking design that balances function with context, as evidenced by a 2025 collaboration with Civico Development and Metro West Collaborative Development. The firm is recognized in the architectural and planning sector for its emphasis on education, collegiality, and community impact, having received Emerging Professional Friendly Firm honors from AIA New England in 2022 and 2024, along with an EPA Phoenix Award for Bartlett Station.
