Dayspring Center is a nonprofit organization committed to combating and preventing family homelessness in Central Indiana. Nearly half of the homeless population in Indianapolis includes families with children. In fact, on any given night, over 3,700 children are without a home. With over 30 years of service to our community, Dayspring Center remains one of the few places homeless families with children can turn to for help, regardless of race, creed, age or circumstance. We not only address a family’s emergency need for food, clothing, and safe shelter but more importantly, we empower parents and children with the skills, resources and resolve to affect permanent change and achieve their goals for healthy family, independent living. When it comes to homelessness, results are what matter most with at least 70% of residents who complete the program at Dayspring moving into permanent housing.
