DCanter is a small wine retail business based in Washington, D.C., curating a global selection of artisanal wines from boutique, small-production, and family-run wineries. The company operates across a brick-and-mortar boutique, an online store, and a wine concierge service to provide a personalized and convenient buying experience. Alongside wine, the shop offers craft beer, accessories, and books to support wine and beer education and exploration. Its customer base includes both connoisseurs and curious learners who want to discover new styles and deepen their knowledge, with services designed to simplify purchasing and enhance the tasting experience. A recent development is the August 2022 partnership with Equality Vines, a cause-driven wine portfolio, aimed at funding equality initiatives while expanding the portfolio's offerings. The business is small in scale and positioned as a boutique player within the beverage sector.
