The Deaf Bible Society is a nonprofit organization focused on providing Bible access through sign languages, leveraging video translations distributed via the Deaf Bible app and online platforms. Its work aims to address a gap in literacy and religious outreach for Deaf communities, where sign language serves as many people’s first or only daily language. By developing and sharing Scripture in multiple sign languages, the organization seeks to support Deaf individuals’ engagement with biblical texts beyond written forms. Based in Arlington, Texas, the society operates with a team that appears to be small to mid-sized and collaborates with partners to advance translation efforts across different sign languages.
