Deerfield Township is a local government administration based in Mason, Ohio, within the Cincinnati metropolitan area. Formally established on May 10, 1803, the township traces its settlement history to the 1790s. It covers more than 16 square miles in the southwest corner of Warren County and is the county's most populous jurisdiction, sharing borders with Hamilton and Butler Counties. The community it serves numbers over 38,000 residents and features a diverse housing stock, schools, a strong park system, and a thriving retail and entertainment corridor. The township administers programs such as Deerfieldstormwater that support environmental and community initiatives. In May 2021, Deerfield Township launched a Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area at Deerfield Towne Center, developed in partnership with the shopping center.
