DelMonaco Winery & Vineyards sits on 52 acres, 20 of those being Vineyard. Our first grapes were planted in 2008. The owners originally wanted to just sell to commercial wineries, but realized there was no winery in this area and proceeded to build the building. DelMonaco Winery opened its doors in November 2008. David DelMonaco thought it would be cheaper to build a winery than to keep Barbara supplied with wine! The original grapes planted were Traminette, Concord, Cabernet Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Today we grow Niagara, Concord, Traminette, Steuben, Cynthiana, Foch, Noiret, and Catawba. Not only do we grow the grapes to make our different varieties of wine, but we also have great event space.. -The Wine Train- Yes, we said Wine Train! These excursions board in Nashville at The Tennessee Central Railway Museum and travel to DelMonaco Winery and back. Our guests enjoy a full tasting on the train, and when you arrive at DelMonaco, we will have live music, local foods, & of course, a great wine selection! -The Booze Cruise- Tour & Taste the Upper Cumberland with DelMonaco Winery, Calfkiller Brewery, Northfield Vineyards, & Red Silo Brewery! We provide the transportation, so guests can sit back, relax and enjoy these extraordinary venues. -Uncorked Wine Run-This year was our very first Uncorked Wine Run. It was a huge success! We had a couple options that day. You could run in the 5k through our 20 acre vineyard and enjoy a celebratory tasting once you crossed the finish line, walk, jog, or skip the 1k with 4 different tastings along the route, or BOTH! We had games, music, food trucks, and of course WINE! It was such a fun day and we cannot wait to do it again! -Food & Wine Pairings-We have done food & pairings with Seven Scenes and The Bull & Thistle! Each time we do these they get even better! We are so blessed to have such wonderful restaurants and chefs in our area to do food & wine pairings with!
