Prefabrication takes the repetitive tasks and products off an individual job-site, and has them built in a controlled manufacturing environment. Prefabrication is the most efficient way for a small contractor to increase production without hiring more personnel. 20%-35% of all new or remodeled projects can be prefabricated, allowing the electrical contractor to focus on other business concerns.  The contractor should see approx 50% of labor savings of those assemblies prefabricated.
