The mission of Democracy Live is to offer secure, accessible elections technologies to the 8,000 elections jurisdictions in the U.S., supporting 200 million eligible voters. Democracy Live is the largest online balloting provider in the U.S. Democracy Live has been selected and funded by the U.S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to provide online balloting to overseas, military and disabled voters. Each voter is unique; and therefore, a one size fits all balloting system simply is not feasible. Democracy Live seeks to revolutionize the voting process by allowing voters to access their balloting information anytime and anywhere, across multiple platforms and media. Whether they are accessing their ballots or researching the candidates on their ballots, voters need an easier and more informative system when it comes to elections. This includes the 35 million voters who live with disabilities in the United States and the 10.5 million voters who reside outside the country. Democracy Live strives to ensure that our tools increase voter participation, are cost effective and create efficiencies that improve the delivery and processing of ballots.
