Den Stolte Hane er en stolt, kjedenøytral kylling- og eggprodusent som både leverer egne merkevarer og private labelprodukter innen hvitt kjøtt og egg. Våre varemerker er Den Stolte Hane i forbrukermarkedet og Vestfold Fugl innen storhusholdning. Både for egg og for kylling har vi egen og uavhengig verdikjede fra produsent til produksjon og til forbruker.

Vårt fokus er at vi skal levere de beste produkter til forbruker gjennom å ha knyttet til oss gode bønder som alltid målsetter å levere den aller beste kvaliteten på våre produkter, effektiv produksjon og gode relasjoner både til kjede og til forbruker. Per april 2016 har vi en total markedsandel på godt over 30 % innen kylling i dagligvare og storhusholdning, samt 25% innen egg til dagligvare.

I 2015 hadde vi totalt 262 ansatte en omsetning på NOK 1,13 mrd i 2015.

Vårt lille hovedkontor ligger på Bryn i Oslo, hvor vi sammen med noen få medarbeidere på Gjøvik er 12 medarbeidere i administrasjon i tillegg til fabrikkene.
Kyllingproduksjonen vår holder til på Jæren i Rogaland. Det siste året har vi vokst fra å ha 32 stolte Jær-bønder til å ha i overkant av 70 bønder på Jæren knyttet til vår kyllingproduksjon. Vi er deleier i Nærbø kyllingslakteri, som ligger vegg i vegg med våre produksjonslokaler på Nærbø.

Vi har omlag 65 bønder knyttet til vår eggproduksjon, og vårt eggpakkeri ligger i Ski i Akershus. Vi leverer kun frittgående, frilands- (utegående) og økologiske egg til norsk dagligvare, og fortrinnsvis til Rema 1000.
