Denver Food Rescue is a 501(c)3 nonprofit committed to reducing food waste and increasing access to nutritious food with our Denver neighbors. ๐ข๐๐ฟ ๐๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฑ๐ ๐๐ถ๐๐ต ๐ฐ๐ผ๐บ๐บ๐๐ป๐ถ๐๐. We recover fresh, surplus food from 25+retailers including grocery stores, wholesalers, farmers markets, catering companies, etc. Our incredible team of volunteers deliver this bounty directly to one of our No Cost Grocery Program (NCGP) partners, often by e-bike! NCGPs are community-led grocery distributions which are locatedย within communitiesย with limited access to fresh, nutritious food. We aim to break down traditional barriers of the charitable food system, as the programs never require sign up or documentation like proof of income.
