Des Moines Performing Arts is a nonprofit organization based in Des Moines, Iowa, that serves central Iowa by presenting professional touring productions. It brings productions directly from Broadway and has helped establish Des Moines as a destination for first national tours. In addition to a flagship Broadway-season program at the Civic Center, the organization operates several venues and expands programming to include The Dance Series, The Temple Comedy Series, and the Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield Family Series; in 2024 it launched the Applause Series to enhance educational opportunities for area students.
