The Design + Construction Group (D+CG) is a 
partnership of highly experienced architects, 
engineers, project and construction 
managers with an average of over 30 years of
collective experience in the building design and
construction  industry. The principals of the firm 
have known one another personally and/or 
professionally for almost 15 years on average. 
They have  worked together on many diverse 
building  projects throughout the United States. 

The new firm was established in Columbus, 
Ohio in 2010 as a full services design/build,
building design, program and construction 
management firm providing  services to both 
public and private sector clients.

D+CG is a minority owned business 
enterprise. The new company combines the
strengths and resources of four successful 
small architectural and engineering firms and 
the almost 30 years of experience of its 
founder, Edwin Williams,  who has had a
successful career as an architect, program and
construction manager for several of the 
Cleveland areas largest, fastest growing and
most successful professional services firms.

The firm is organized and structured to be 
managed by a core group of the five founding
principals of the partner firms and lead by 
D+CG’s founder, Edwin Williams. The group 
began with total collective resources of over 20 
personnel. D+CG’s expanding need for 
professional technical staff along with the  
firm’s growth and success will be fulfilled by 
recruiting personnel from either within the 
partner companies permanently or temporarily 
or from outside recruiting and other sources.
