Founded in 2014, Design Shop Interiors has quickly grown into one of the premier full-service interior design firms located in Northern California. While based just outside Sacramento, our portfolio of work spans the entire West Coast and beyond.

Known for our timeless, fresh, collected interiors, we specialize in interior architecture and design for large-scale remodels and custom new home builds, including furnishings and home decor. We work hand in hand with our clients, architects, and builders from initial concept to full design implementation. Collectively, our team (of all women) has years of design and construction experience, hundreds of projects behind us, nationally recognized design work, and now a thriving retail storefront.

In 2019, we opened our first brick-and-mortar storefront, The Shop. Designed to give the public access to all the impeccable home decor and furnishings beloved by our interior designers, The Shop features the largest privately owned Visual Comfort Lighting Gallery in the state of California, along with a rotating, curated collection of custom upholstery, home furnishings, vintage finds, textiles, and accessories.

We've created a retail shopping experience that merges expert interior design services with unparalleled access to customizable furnishings. Through The Shop™, you have access to tens of thousands of products from a broad spectrum of manufacturers. Plus, our staff is knowledgeable and will support you in selecting items that will make your house a home.
