As the name implies, Design Temp takes a unique design-focused approach to deliver a customized, highly effective HVAC system for both residential and commercial clients.

Family-owned and operated, Design Temp was founded by Dan & Wendy Hicks in 2005. Hicks decided to put his expertise in heating and cooling systems together with his natural sales ability to launch Design Temp of FL, Inc. It was Hicks’ mission to make Design Temp more than just another Florida AC provider. Hicks focused his approach on the design side of the business, which quickly helped DT distinguish itself amongst Tampa Bay heating and cooling contractors.Wendy manages the daily business operations of DT while providing outstanding customer service to her clients.
