The Dharma Ocean Foundation offers us the chance to live within the brilliance of our deepest lives. Within our Buddhist lineage, somatic meditation is the primary way to uncover this radiance, and the foundation offers a wide range of retreats and online programs in the sitting practice of meditation. 

Residential retreats include our 5-month Meditating with the Body program, a month-long Winter Meditation Intensive (Dathün), and the 10-day The Body Loves retreat. Online programs include Awakening the Body, the Somatic Practice of Pure Awareness, Boundless Heart, and our 2-part Sutrayana Study and Practice Intensive. Students wishing to become vajrayana practitioners enter the vajrayana path through Vajra Assembly and return annually for the Vajrayana Training Intensive. 

Dr. Reginald A. Ray and senior students lead these retreats and programs as well as regional practice groups around the world. 

Dharma Ocean owns and operates the Blazing Mountain Retreat Center in Crestone, Colorado. The center was created as a sacred and protected space for guests to explore the richness and depth of their most fundamental self, through connection with their spiritual tradition and their community.

Nestled in the majestic Sangre de Cristo mountains of southern Colorado, we host meditation and embodiment retreats as well as other contemplative programs that promote and inspire wakefulness in the world.
