Based in New York City, DHD Architecture, PC operates as a versatile architecture and planning practice serving residential, commercial, retail, and hospitality projects. It offers full-service capabilities spanning ground-up architecture, site development, interior design, and fine art consulting, and maintains a diverse portfolio in New York and internationally, including an active practice in New Zealand that reflects principal David Howell's ties to his home country.

The firm emphasizes outstanding service that seeks to understand clients’ aspirations while balancing them with budgetary and scheduling goals from early concepts through construction documents and administration. Collaboration with all project partners is a central practice to keep the design process transparent, responsive, foresighted, and flexible. Its design approach rests on a modern foundation with naturalistic and contemporary elements, blending elemental and ecological forms within a restrained, sculptural imprint, and aiming to bridge indoors and outdoors, thoughtfully illuminate spaces, respect site origins, and reflect occupant or brand identity in an elegant, sustainable manner.
