DAI is a full service architecture/land planning/consulting firm founded in 1988, located in Ventura County, California with current projects throughout the Southwest. We are a dedicated team of professionals with backgrounds in the architecture, planning and construction fields. 
DAI is involved in a diversity of projects including community planning, entitlement processing, developer-driven market rate and non-profit affordable housing design, custom single family residences and commercial projects. This diversity of project types provides us with a broad level of experience while concentrating within standardized construction techniques. In addition: 
• Our experience with commercial projects gives us the ability to deal concurrently with the many players in a construction project and with significant budgetary and time constraints. 
• Our background in construction gives us a greater understanding of the construction process and methods; to see the project from the Builder’s perspective as well as that of the Client. 
• Our involvement with residences allows us to synthesize the ideas, hopes and dreams of the Client into a consistent whole and provide the Client with a project that is uniquely their own, while providing us additional insight into the design and construction of developer driven residential projects. 
• Our planning experience gives us a community perspective, that the built environment is not specifically isolated to individual buildings, and that the buildings we do provide must relate to the broader context of the community and site in which they are located.
