Diamond Street ECC is a non-profit early childhood center who educates and serves children from infancy through elementary school. Our mission to is provide a nurturing, safe, educational environment that emphasizes the worth and uniqueness of each child in a Christian atmosphere that promotes peaceful conflict resolution, respect and service which is consistent with the Anabaptist mission of Akron Mennonite Church. We are a STAR 4 center, the highest status in our state’s quality rating scale (Keystone STARS) as well as nationally accredited by NAEYC (National Association of the Education of Young Children). We welcome all families regardless of socio-economic status by working with state subsidy, Pre-K Counts, PA’s EITC scholarship program and our own privately funded scholarship fund.
