DIL Appraisals, provides personal property appraisals to International Society of Appraisers (ISA) standards and qualified appraisals according to the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) for Fine Art, Antiques and Residential Contents for Estate Tax and Donation;  Equitable Distribution for Estate Planning, Dissolution of Marriage and Partnership; Insurance, Damage Claims, and Bankruptcy.

DIL Appraisals serves the South Florida Area as well as Montana and the Rocky Mountain West.

Dorothy Long, Owner of DIL Appraisals, has been an ISA Appraiser since 2001 specializing in the areas of Antiques and Residential Contents and in 2009 earned an accreditation in Fine Art.

Prior to becoming an appraiser, she worked in the auction business, then gained experience in contemporary art as a gallery owner in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami where she represented both established and emerging artists. The gallery closed in 2010 and Dorothy has been solely appraising in Florida and Montana where she also maintains a residence.

Dorothy Long is an Accredited Member in Fine Art with The International Society of Appraisers (ISA), and is currently the Secretary of the International Society of Appraisers, South Florida.
