DTI is an R&D company that has patented 2D/3D backlight systems that replace the traditional backlights in monitors or TVs to provide glasses-free HD 3D that dynamically switches to HD 2D. Displays using DTI's technology avoid the resolution loss associated with other 3D displays through the use of a patented time multiplexed imaging process.  DTI displays incorporate 2D to 3D streaming conversion by 3D Impact Media so that news, Sportscasts, movies, all shows can be viewed in 2D or glasses-free 3D at the consumer's convenience. In addition to consumer applications, this technology has great appeal in military, medical, point of sale, and educational segments. 

DTI's primary business model is to develop and patent advanced 3D and ultra high resolution display technology and license it to major manufacturers.  DTI also builds custom 3D video and display solutions fora wide variety of specialized applications such like telerobotics, remote vehicle driving, tele-surgery, simulation, imspection, military, law enforcement, vision studies, and more.
