The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) is a Massachusetts state agency operating within the Executive Office for Administration and Finance. Based in Boston, it oversees capital project planning, design and construction, facilities management, decarbonization of state facilities, and real estate services for the Commonwealth. DCAMM collaborates with state agencies to create sustainable, cost-conscious buildings that meet public needs and support economic activity, and it engages private-sector partners to facilitate doing business with the Commonwealth. It plans and executes capital projects, directly manages roughly three million square feet of state buildings, and provides maintenance standards and funding to care for these assets. The agency oversees property acquisition, disposition of surplus property, and leasing space for state agencies, and it serves as a central partner in advancing decarbonization, housing repurposing, and inclusive participation in public construction under the Healey-Driscoll administration.
