Dixon Mitchell Investment Counsel is a national discretionary asset manager headquartered in Vancouver. We work with institutional and individual clients, constructing and managing investment portfolios to meet diverse financial goals.

By our registration, we carry a fiduciary duty to all clients under common law. Stewardship is more than a legal obligation to Dixon Mitchell, though – it’s the cornerstone upon which our firm was built and the spirit guides all that we do. Our goal each day is to provide a disciplined and rigorous investment process to clients within a culture of fairness, transparency, and cost control.

Dixon Mitchell was founded in 2000 by a small group of portfolio managers with a desire to do things differently. Our goals were to provide clients with a focused investment management approach, to align our interests with theirs, and to keep costs down. In other words, we established the firm to be a true steward of client wealth. Today, Dixon Mitchell is an independent, employee-owned investment counsellor looking after significant assets for a wide array of institutional and private clients.
