Established in 2005, david Mansfield Architecture & Design offers comprehensive services in architecture and interior design to residential, commercial, and institutional clients in New York City and the Tri-state area. While primarily devoted to smaller scale projects, both residential and commercial, dMAD has significant experience in new construction, landmark restoration, custom homes, loft conversions, apartment renovation and combinations, as well as zoning studies and development analysis.

Emphasis is placed on both excellence in design and service to their clients in conjunction with providing the appropriate response to each individual project’s needs and goals. Work is always executed with a commitment to quality and they strive to maintain a disciplined and balanced approach between the creative process and project constraints.

David Mansfield founded the firm in 2005 after spending twelve years in practice at the New York City firm of Butler Rogers Baskett Architects and the offices of Gluck+. As an associate at BRB he had the opportunity to work on many large and complex projects for major institutional and commercial clients. His varying role in project management, project designer and project architect allows him to bring a high degree of experience and expertise to all aspects of the profession. Notably, his work as project designer on the Hamilton College Athletic facility help the firm receive both regional and national design awards.
