The Detroit Medical Center Physician Hospital Organization (DMC PHO) is an organization of independent doctors practicing in Southeast Michigan, faculty physicians from the Wayne State University Medical School, employed physicians of the DMC, and the nine DMC facilities. Member physicians have medical staff privileges at the Detroit Medical Center and other hospitals throughout the region. The DMC PHO facilitates physician and hospital participation in health care plans and provides services that promote quality and efficiency in the practice and business of healthcare. The DMC PHO's mission is to encourage the delivery of the highest quality healthcare to patients while providing value driven services to our members.
