Domestic Abuse Intervention Programs (DAIP), located in Duluth, MN, is both a local intervention program and a national training project.

DAIP offers men's non-violence programming, victim advocacy, and child visitation/parenting center to the Duluth community and the surrounding area.

DAIP also facilitated the creation of a local coordinated community response, now known at The Duluth Model. The Duluth Model is recognized nationally and internationally as the leading tool to help communities eliminate violence in the lives of women and children. The model seeks to eliminate domestic violence through written procedures, policies, and protocols governing intervention and prosecution of criminal domestic assault cases. The Duluth Model was the first to outline multi-disciplinary procedures to protect and advocate for victims.

DAIP also offers training, consultation, and resources based on The Duluth Model to help community activists, domestic violence workers, practitioners in the criminal and civil justice systems, human service providers, and community leaders make a direct impact on domestic violence. One of these resources, the Power and Control wheel, is used around the world to help educate on victim's experiences of abuse within an intimate partner relationship.
