Dominican Home Health Agency (DHHA) is a Catholic organization providing quality in-home and community health services to poor, sick, elderly resident of Metro Denver regardless of origin, creed, or any other status of the individual. We serve all, regardless of the ability to pay. Service boundaries include: 104th to the north, Belleview to the south, I-225 to the east and Simms to the west. Programs include: In-Home Nursing Care: DHHA nurses and caregivers bring skill and compassion to frail and vulnerable disabled adults and seniors and provide: 1) Skilled Care - Registered Nurses health education, medication management, and physical assessments to improve quality of life; 2) Personal Care - Personal Care Providers and Certified Nurse Aides provide bathing, dressing and light meal preparation; 3) Pastoral Care - A Dominican Brother is available to provide spiritual support to patients who request it. Wellness Clinics: DHHA provides mobile wellness clinics at 17 low-income senior and disabled housing sites in Metro Denver. These nurse-run clinics assist residents with chronic disease management, medication adherence and connection to community resources that are instrumental in mainting their independence. Durable Medical Equipment Loans: DHHA provides lifesaving medical equipment to those in need including canes, wheelchairs, walkers, bedside commodes, bath and shower benches, hospital beds and much more.
