Donatantonio started life as a delicatessen in Clerkenwell in 1902 and has been importing and distributing Mediterranean products ever since. The company remained a family business until 2007 when new investors and management stepped up to the plate and embraced the hard work and heritage of its founders. Since then the company has gone from strength to strength enjoying strong growth with a current turnover of circa £20m per annum. Our core product range, to name but a few includes pasta, antipasti, vegetables, rice, pulses, pesto and olive oils under brand and retailer label. But we are always striving to add to our extensive range and we leave no stone unturned in our efforts to deliver the absolute best. Our customers are our top priority and we listen to their needs and requirements to help us in this endeavour. Our mantra is: “If it isn’t good enough for us, then it isn’t good enough for them.” So it doesn’t get in. But we’re not just all about pasta! We have recently added an amazing new non-peanut butter spread called ‘Wowbutter’ to our arsenal which has not only secured a prestigious industry QFA [Quality Food Awards 2013] accolade but is also taking the media by storm. And when it comes to identifying and capitalising on developing eating trends and additional new product lines, then we’re the ones who have our finger on the pulse [excuse the pun!]. We maintain consistent quality via an Italian technical team to BRC Grade A standards and we are also proud to hold a Royal Warrant as Tradesman to The Queen.
