Founded by American design innovator Dorothy Draper, Dorothy Draper & Company, Inc. is owned and lead by Draper's protege Carleton Varney. Mr. Varney, one of America’s best known interior designers is President of Dorothy Draper & Co. Inc. He is associated with the restoration and decoration of countless hotels, resorts and residences all over the world. His design philosophy stresses the use of bright colors and the rejection of all that is impractical, uncomfortable and drab.
