Douglas Franz Architects, Inc. was started in March 2003 by Douglas Franz, AIA, as an architecture firm specializing in the design of commercial buildings, with a focus on professional office and industrial buildings in the Southern California area.  Since its inception, DFA, Inc. has designed over 10 million square feet of ground-up commercial and industrial buildings, including interior tenant improvements.

We are a leader in our industry by providing comprehensive services to owners, developers and tenants. Our services include site design and master planning, feasibility studies, building design, interior architecture, construction documentation, construction administration, and as-built drawings.  Our projects vary in size from small single story office buildings to multi-tenant office and industrial parks that often include mixed-use retail.  

Our clients are engaged in professional office, medical office, industrial, manufacturing, and warehouse development.  We work with large national developers, land owners, regional developers, local business owners, and individual tenants.  Our expertise in the industry over the past few years has generated excellent relationships with local contractors and commercial real estate brokers throughout southern California, allowing us to have a complete team approach to any project.
