Downtown is a mid-sized retail company based in Great Gonerby, Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. Its roots extend to 1804 when it began as a small shop focusing on drapery and haberdashery, with services that included funeral services. Since 1915 the business has been owned by the Isaac family, guiding its evolution across the decades. The company expanded its footprint with Downtown Boston in 1981 and Downtown Grantham in 1989, followed by a Distribution Centre in 1997 and a Garden Centre in 2000. Today, the business is led by Managing Director Peter Isaac and continues to pursue expansion, including plans for a Downtown Grantham Designer Outlet.

It serves shoppers in Lincolnshire and the surrounding region with a diversified retail proposition that has grown beyond its original specialty lines. The organization operates multiple formats and a logistics infrastructure that supports its regional presence. In recent activity, Downtown Stores announced a partnership with Lincs FM Group in May 2023, reflecting ongoing local collaboration.
