Dreyev offers an in-vehicle “digital copilot” device that evaluates drivers for risky behavior. Through Computer Vision and Machine Learning, the Dreyev system analyzes driver conditions such as head pose and eyelid closure to detect distracted or drowsy driving and issues real-time alerts in the case of dangerous conditions.

Telematics devices have been on the rise within the auto insurance industry. However, in-vehicle driver coaching is only just emerging.
