DRIFT is a Dutch art studio founded in 2007 by Lonneke Gordijn and Ralph Nauta and based in Amsterdam, North Holland. It brings together a multidisciplinary team to create experiential sculptures, installations, and performances that explore natural phenomena and Earth's underlying mechanisms through technology. The works aim to reveal parallels between human-made and natural structures using interactive, deconstructive processes to foster a renewed connection with the planet. DRIFT's work has been presented by major international institutions and venues, including Centre Pompidou, The Shed, Stedelijk Museum, and Victoria and Albert Museum, and the studio is represented by Pace Gallery, Carpenters Workshop Gallery, and CAA. In the contemporary art landscape, DRIFT seeks to bring together people, space, and nature on a common frequency, offering immersive experiences that encourage reflection on our relationship with the Earth.
