Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) operates as a Dubai free zone focused on health and wellness, connecting more than 400 partners across clinical and non-clinical services to support patients, medical travelers, students, investors, and visitors. It is the home of the Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences and is governed by the Dubai Healthcare City Authority, with its Regulatory arm enforcing quality standards accredited by ISQua. Located in the heart of Dubai, DHCC comprises two phases: Phase 1 in Oud Metha, a 9 million square-foot healthcare and medical-education community, and Phase 2 in Al Jaddaf, a 19 million square-foot wellness campus under development overlooking Ras al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dubai Water Canal. Beyond its real estate, the organization provides a one-stop service for investors, including company incorporation, trade licenses, and visa arrangements, and in 2026 has introduced initiatives such as an AI-driven tele-compounding pharmacy platform known as The Formula.
