The Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ) is a government administration entity based in Dubai that oversees special economic zones and related digital economy initiatives. It seeks to strengthen Dubai's status as a global hub by developing an integrated ecosystem that combines a multimedia-enabled environment, international networks, and end-to-end solutions for business operations.

In 2026, DIEZ expanded its private-sector collaborations, including a joint venture with Wasl Properties to establish Dubai CommerCity, a digital-trade free zone, with the authority coordinating efforts to increase the readiness of resident companies to expand regionally and globally. The authority has also formed partnerships to develop AI-ready data centers in Dubai Silicon Oasis, working with Volt UAE and Schneider Electric to provide advanced electrical systems and data-center infrastructure. These developments illustrate DIEZ's role in advancing Dubai's digital economy and supporting its goal of being a regional and global hub.
