Dubai National Insurance & Reinsurance PSC (DNIR) is a United Arab Emirates-based insurer operating as a public shareholding company. It provides a broad portfolio of protection across personal and commercial lines, including property, liability, accident, engineering, motor, life, medical, and specialized coverages. The company relies on a conservative underwriting approach to support steady growth in premiums and net income, backed by leading international reinsurers such as Swiss Re, SCOR, and Munich Re. Having begun operations in 1992, DNIR was among the early insurers listed on the Dubai Financial Market, reflecting its long-standing presence in the local market. Based in Dubai, DNIR serves a UAE market that includes both individual policyholders and corporate clients seeking tailored risk solutions. In 2026, the company announced a partnership with Ogold Portal LLC to strengthen custody and risk management for retail and institutional segments in line with international standards.
