Biodiversity is essential for human survival and our aim is to ensure we can persist alongside the myriad of plants and animals that inhabit our planet. Durrell Conservation Academy Durrell has been running unique courses in good conservation practice since 1978, when Gerald Durrell created what he called “a mini-university” at Durrell Wildlife Park, to provide intensive training to conservation practitioners worldwide.
