Eagle's Nest Foundation is a non-profit organization focused on experiential education for young people, promoting engagement with the natural world and the development of character. It operates through three programs: an academic semester school for tenth graders, a co-ed residential summer camp, and wilderness and cultural exchange programs for teens, all housed on a 180-acre campus in Pisgah Forest, North Carolina, with a satellite office in Winston-Salem. The foundation serves families seeking structured, immersive experiences that combine academics, outdoor living, and personal growth, delivering programs that span middle to high school-aged participants. Founded in 1927 and chartered as a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit in 1950, it has a longstanding presence in the region and maintains a multi-program model designed to complement traditional schooling. In recent years, leadership changes have occurred, with announcements regarding the appointment of a new executive director, reflecting ongoing organizational development.
