The EARTH University Foundation is a nonprofit organization in the philanthropic fundraising sector, based in Atlanta, Georgia. It was established to support the educational mission of EARTH University in Costa Rica by receiving gifts from the global community and by running related programs and initiatives, enabling tax-deductible contributions to fund an undergraduate education for future leaders who might not otherwise have access. EARTH University has operated for more than 25 years, preparing young leaders from more than 40 countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa and Asia to contribute to sustainable development. The university offers a rigorous, fully accredited four-year undergraduate program in agricultural sciences and natural resources management, with an emphasis on science and technology, values, ethical entrepreneurship and environmental and social commitment. The Foundation exists to support this educational vision by facilitating gifts that broaden access to this education.
