Earthfire Institute is a nonprofit wildlife sanctuary, rehabilitation center, and retreat located in Driggs, Idaho. Founded in 2000, it operates within the conservation field to foster coexistence with wild beings by hosting rescued wildlife and offering opportunities for human–animal interaction, with the aim of broadening environmental decision-making to include animal voices. Serving a broad audience, the organization provides a home for animals unsuited to life in the wild and a safe setting for people to engage with them, addressing concerns around wildlife welfare and human–nature relationships. Positioned within the conservation programs sector on the western slope of the Teton Mountain range near the Yellowstone–to–Yukon wildlife corridor, Earthfire pursues its ecological advocacy through a model rooted in personal inspiration and a commitment to protecting the broader ecosystem. A notable development in recent years includes a collaboration with Ubiquity University to participate in Humanity Rising, reflecting its engagement with global conversations on pandemic response and community resilience.
