Eaton Towers is a mid-sized telecommunications infrastructure company based in London, England. It operates as an independent pan-African tower company with more than 5,000 tower sites across Ghana, Uganda, Kenya, Burkina Faso and Niger. The business buys, builds, and manages shared telecom infrastructure and leases it to mobile operators. It was founded in 2008 by Terry Rhodes, Sanjiv Ahuja and Alan Harper, who previously held senior roles at Celtel, Orange and Vodafone UK. The major shareholder is Capital International Private Equity Fund, and in 2019 Eaton Towers was acquired by American Tower.
