Each year nearly 800,000 people in the U.S. experience a new or recurrent stroke and stroke is the fifth leading cause of death in the U.S. Up to 80 percent of stroke can be prevented and our mission now is to give surviving stroke patients, diabetics, and others a home testing device that can give an early warning sign and help prevent a secondary stroke at home.
We are developing an easy to use home test to monitor the risk of stroke. The device is based on our patented and proven technology, based on biomarker detection that is both accurate, low cost and simple to use.
