ECM TRANSPORT, LLC, an asset-based truckload carrier headquartered in New Kensington, PA has been providing truckload service for over 20 years. ECM was founded by Edward “Ed” Meier, who started the organization in September of 1988. His vision was to create a truckload provider in the marketplace that would offer high-quality, on-time truckload service at a cost-effective price.

ECM TRANSPORT is a full service, 10 terminal, truckload network that provides customers with exceptional performance while allowing for flexibility to meet customers' needs and demands. This customer-centric philosophy has allowed us to explore new opportunities to provide our customers with high-value transportation services.

In 2005, ECM TRANSPORT merged with PITT OHIO EXPRESS, a privately owned less-than-truckload (LTL) carrier, in order to meet the LTL demands of customer base. This merger helped both organizations missions to become even more of a customer-centric transportation solutions provider. Customers now have the ability to fill all their transportation needs without sacrificing the levels of superior service and professionalism they have come to expect from both companies.

ECM TRANSPORT believes in focusing on technology and implementing innovative transportation solutions to fit the ever-changing needs of our customers. Our well maintained fleet has an average of three and a half years of service, so customers can be confident their shipments will arrive as scheduled.
