Eco Framing is a full-service custom picture framing studio located in Oakland, California, offering museum-quality conservation framing and visual display solutions for both retail and business clients. Established in 1980 by photographer, curator, and designer Bennett Hall, Eco Framing began as a resource for exhibit and art consulting services and has since grown into a premier destination for custom framing and corporate display services in the Bay Area.
We provide custom framing for fine art, photography, documents, textiles, and memorabilia, using over 500 moulding styles and U.S.-grown sustainable hardwoods. Our team uses state-of-the-art equipment and conservation-grade materials to ensure your work is beautifully presented and properly preserved. From simple, elegant matting to complex shadowboxes and oversized installations, every project is handled with precision and care.
For business and institutional clients, Eco Framing collaborates with Business Image Group to deliver comprehensive visual solutions. These include large-scale interior art programs, branded photography, historical displays, way-finding graphics, and full project management—from design consultation to on-site installation. Our experience spans government buildings, healthcare environments, hotels, educational institutions, law firms, corporate offices, and property developments.
