Solar Harvest, the company’s flagship zero net energy home built in Boulder, Colorado, was the first home of its type to be built in the U.S. The home has received numerous local & national awards, press, and is often featured in local tours of green homes. Recently, the home was verified by the US Department of Energy to have a HERS Index of (-3), which proves that the home has produced more energy than it has consumed since it was built in 2005. 

Ecofutures newest initiative is "zero energy for all," and to this end the company is expanding its services to provide services for middle markets, including a new division that offers energy audits & energy retrofit services to existing home stock. Additionally, Ecofutures now offers customizable, turnkey homebuilding systems designed to be more affordable and have a shorter construction period.
