Focused on strategic and sustainable expansion of Compression Upcycling Technology™ into the North American market. The manufacturing process directly converts problematic, post-consumer, landfill-bound plastic film and flexible packaging into value-added, multi-life Ekopolimer™ products and applications. Dramatically extending the life of former single use plastics, and offering cost, performance, carbon and environmental benefits over concrete, asphalt, and wood. Each production line diverts over 39,000,000 pounds of plastic from the landfill and converts it into the equivalent of +650,000 Ekopallets or +400,000 Ekomats annually. In addition, each line creates dozens of jobs with a focus on workforce development, employment of marginalized groups, employee ownership, profit sharing, and livable wages. A tsunami of plastic packaging has led to the adoption of EPR in the U.S. and Canada, creating a new, rapidly growing multi-billion-dollar marketplace. EPR requires major producers (consumer brands) to bear responsibility for diverting plastic film and flexible packaging from landfill/incineration and create a value-added outcome. Producers have not fulfilled their collection responsibility until they've also demonstrated that the material has been converted for reuse. EcoGlobal is in the unique position to accept this problematic feedstock at scale and create a long-term, circular outcome. The core profitability of the fourth-generation manufacturing process (+30% EBITDA) results from large market commodity products, including pallets and ground access mats. Significant supplemental revenue comes from plastic and carbon credits generated by converting former plastic waste into multi-decade applications. The +15 year manufacturing history has demonstrated commercially competitive products that offer customers lower cost, equal or better performance, and environmental benefits (including the highest carbon offsets in the market).
