The East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine is a dental school and clinic located in Greenville, North Carolina, operating from Ledyard E. Ross Hall at 1851 MacGregor Downs Road. Founded in 2011, it trains North Carolinians with a service-oriented focus to improve oral health care across the state. The institution runs eight community service learning centers across rural North Carolina, where fourth-year students work with faculty and residents to provide care in under-resourced counties and towns. More than 75,000 patients from all 100 North Carolina counties have received care through these centers, and more than 90% of graduates practice in-state.
