To accomplish this goal, we have the option to wipe/erase the data on your hard drives using one of the following methods: Secure Erase 1-pass 3-pass DoD 7-pass Hard drive shredding is also an available option that will help protect confidential data. As the name implies, the shredding process rips the hard drive to "shreds" by putting it through a series of rotating blades, completely damaging the drive. Because our industrial hard drive shredding is available both in-house, as well as on-site, customers have the option to personally observe the destruction of their hard drives. As an added benefit, all our clients enjoy complimentary hard drive wiping or shredding, which includes a Certificate of Destruction upon request. Our Zero Landfill policy motivates us to recycle your old electronics and surplus IT hardware in a safe and responsible manner.
