Eden Youth and Family Center is now Eden Youth. We’re a youth-powered organization, protecting and nurturing the well-being of our community. By giving hands-on support, we create a safe space for everyone to heal and thrive.Without access to opportunities, you can’t reach your full potential. That’s why we’re in the community of South Hayward, unlocking resources and making up for the disproportionate lack of services. Our programs are designed to develop fundamental life skills including public and mental health, safety, employment, education, social-emotional learning, and exposure to technology and the arts. When young people have this creative and holistic support, they stand confidently on their own. We believe that youth are key to building a healthy and vibrant community. Our Youth Advisory Council keeps our finger on the pulse and helped us prioritize substance abuse awareness and prevention. We’ve won youth-led policy, bans, and legislation and introduced evidence-based programs in schools. It’s when we listen and work alongside young people that we create real and lasting change. We’ve been on the ground fighting for systemic change in our community for over 40 years. Our community events allow us all to share successes, celebrate each other’s cultures, and fight for change. We believe in our collective power through collaboration and have built strong partnerships to get things done. We’re all in for the well-being of our wonderful community.
