At EDGEland Studio we are intrigued with the intersection of nature and the urban condition - where infrastructure, density, culture, and the environment overlap.  This confluence reminds us of edge conditions found in nature where the intersection of habitats create moments of intense biodiversity.  Just as in nature, these areas are typically the most interesting parts of our cities, moments of unique experiences shared by diverse groups of people/communities.
 
Our design philosophy looks to exploit the intrinsic character and potential of each site to craft a unique and memorable experience for users.  We create organizational landscapes comprised of programmed layers that enhance the sites performative characteristics.  Our designs favor performance, efficiency, authenticity, and social relevance.
 
We believe a well-designed landscape can yield surprises that change perceptions about how we interact with our environment and ultimately redefine how we experience our cities.   EDGE explores ideas of mobility, equity, ecology, and art that coalesce into memorable experiences that improve our quality of life.
 
We approach each new project with fresh ideas void of preconceived notions.  Our designs evoke creativity and modernity resulting in unique spaces that are rooted in culture and ecology.  Understanding that every project has its unique schedule and budget realities, we partner with collaborative teams of developers, public agencies, architects, and engineers that see project constraints as an opportunity for creative solutions.
