Over 60 years of experience form the solid foundation of Edmeades & Stromdahl, Ltd. Architects / Planners of Harford County, Maryland. As traditional architects with innovative design solutions, we are concerned with providing client-focused service instead of just the object itself. We achieve this by truly listening to the functional, technical, and aesthetic needs of our clients and transforming these needs into a design vision.  

As a small firm, we are able to dedicate one of the principals of the firm to each and every project, ensuring communication channels are tight throughout all phases of design and construction. Our construction documents are known for precision due to our talented staff members and advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, ultimately leading to minimal change orders so projects are built within our client's budgets. 

Edmeades & Stromdahl provides full A/E services, including: feasibility studies, site evaluations, needs assessments, programming, design, bidding/negotiations, construction documents, and construction administration.  Our clients include various government, municipal, commercial, and private clients, for whom we have designed office buildings, libraries, community/activity centers, schools, churches/religious facilities, and retail facilities. 

We have a regional prescience in planning and designing public safety facilities where fire, police, and emergency service personnel work and train. Edmeades & Stromdahl has extensive experience in fire stations, fire + police training academies, emergency operations centers, and fire + police headquarters.
